I'm a Drover - Drovers, Feb. 2023

Light Hill Meats owners, Ben and Lauren Neale, were featured in a national magazine called Drovers. It is a publication geared toward US cattle producers and beef industry representatives, focusing on topics like the market, cattle health, forage research, and more. Each month, they highlight a family or individual from across the country that is leading the way or innovating the overall cattle business in their area. In February, Ben and Lauren were chosen to be featured in this section.

The brief story tells the journey from their beginning as first-generation cattle farmers to eventually acquiring the processing facility in Giles County, and then on to opening the retail store in Spring Hill. It features a short background of the couple and how excited they are to offer middle Tennessee great local beef from their herd, as well as other top-quality meat products.
